Eucational Programs:

• Pre-primary education is optional for children between 36 and 72 months.
•  Primary and Secondary education is free and compulsory for children aged 6 to 18 years.
• Primary education is divided into two levels, first 4 years (1^st to 4^th Grade) and then second 4 years (5^Th to 8^th Grade).
• Secondary education:  called lyceum is for 4 years. At the end of secondary/high school education students must pass a high school finishing examination in order to take the University Entrance Exam if they want to continue their studies at a university.
• Higher education (4 Years or more) consists of Universities & Colleges, for under graduate, graduate and doctoral degrees.  Türkiye has over 200 universities as of 2022.
•  Türkiye is a popular among international students due to affordable tuition fees compared to European universities. International students can take Turkish university entrance exam for foreign students, or apply with internationally accepted tests such as SAT.
